As a part of my efforts to remedy the problem, I am trying to flash the BIOS to 1.16. I have an Aspire ES1-111M-C7DE whose battery is failing to charge. Which is looping now after a failed BIOS update - so no boot into windows! How to flash BIOS without having HP Tools Partition. However, the InsydeFlash utility obtained from Acer's 'Support & Downloads' page will not run the BIOS update until the battery is at least 15% charged.
I put those files and FLASH_IT.EXE (without the underscore) and FLASH. I rename the GPC_v128.bin to JM41X64.FD (and JM41X64. I download the 1.28 bios from the acer site.
